Today what we have in our labs is the entry level and budget friendly PSU - Bitfenix BPA600. Let's take a look how the renowned casing manufacture fares in producing power supplies.

Design & Hardware
As usual, we have the power draw table on the PSU unit itself and we can actually see that the Bitfenix BPA600 is capable of delivering a maximum load of 552W on the +12V rail, with its rated maxmium load of 40A.
The Bitfenix BPA600 is equipped with a 120mm silent fan as intake as well as to exhausts the heat inside the power supply.
The Bitfenix BPA600 utilizes the mainstream honey comb exhaust grill design that has been proven to provide the best airflow for the internal parts and components of the power supply.
The BPA600 has non-modular cable design and the 24pin ATX connector are the only portion of the cable that comes sleeved.
The connectors available are pretty standard, 24pin ATX for motherboard, 6+2pin PCIe power connector for graphics card, SATA connectors for the storage devices, and 4pin molex for other stuffs like LEDs, water pump, fan controller, etc.
Testing Methodology
As Tech Critter do not own any industrial grade load tester to perform intensive tests on the power supplies on hand, we will be performing tests from the end user's angle.
We've mounted the Bitfenix BPA600 on our daily driver machine which comes with an Intel Core i5 3470 and Sapphire Radeon 7970. Then, we went through numerous tests which involve stress test and graphics card overclocking - glad to report that throughout the process, no issue is encountered.
Final Thoughts
Retails at around RM200, this power supply performs way better than your regular cap ayam power supply and what not, it fits the bill of most budget conscious buyers.
