ROG Masters 2017 eSports Tournament announced with US$ 500,000 prize pool

The ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced that the ROG Masters 2017 eSports tournament is now official. The competition will offer a prize pool of US$ 500,000 and feature over 20 top professional teams from four continents. The tournament is set to bring Defence of the Ancient 2 (DotA 2) and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) to a whole new scale.

The tournament commences in May 2017 and teams from across the globe will battle in a series of 30 country qualifiers and 4 regional qualifiers which include EMEA, Americas, APAC and China. The winners of these open qualifiers will then take on the might of invited professional teams from each of the four regions, fighting for a place in the Grand Finals in November 2017.
