NVIDIA Rumored To Launch GTX 1070 Ti In November To Tackle AMD Vega 56

Weeks ago, an alleged photo of the supposed GTX 1070 Ti featured in a PC  build specs has sparked the interest of many. Some claimed that it's just a typo, but there are chance that NVIDIA is actually planning for its third Ti in its GTX 10 series lineup, the GTX 1070 Ti to tackle on the AMD Vega 56 just like what they did with the GTX 1060 back then.

As we all know that the GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 graphics cards are both equipped with a the GP104 GPU, the GTX 1070 Ti will definitely be having the same GPU as well. According to MyDrivers.com, the GTX 1070 Ti will be featuring a whopping 2432 CUDA cores, 152 TMUs, core clock of 1607 MHz, a boost clock of 1683 MHz and a TDP of 180W, which goes the same with the GTX 1080.

With only 128 CUDA cores and 12 TMUs lesser than the GP104-400 GPU on the GTX 1080, this makes the GTX 1070 Ti a threat to the GTX 1080. But NVIDIA will definitely not let the GTX 1070 Ti to cannibalize its GTX 1080, it is very likely that 8 Gbps GDDR5 memory will be used instead of the faster 11 Gbps GDDR5X memory.

MyDrivers.com also mentioned that NVIDIA is planning to launch the GTX 1070 Ti somewhere in November 2017, with an estimated price of 3499 RMB ( 500 RMB lesser than GTX 1080 at 3999 RMB).
